Terms of Service
Last updated: October 2, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to your use of clearpathhomebuyers.ca (the “Site”) and to any communication you have with ClearPath Home Buyers (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By using the Site or submitting a form, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. What we do
ClearPath Home Buyers purchases residential property directly from homeowners in Alberta. The Site lets you request a no-obligation cash offer, learn how our process works, and contact us.
2. Offers are not binding until written
Submitting a form does not create a contract, and we are not obligated to make an offer on any property. Any offer we provide is an estimate based on the information available to us and may change after we review the property. A sale only becomes binding when both parties sign a written purchase agreement. You are free to decline any offer, and we encourage you to get independent legal advice before signing anything.
3. Information you provide
You agree that the information you submit about yourself and your property is accurate to the best of your knowledge, and that you are the owner of the property or are authorized to act for the owner.
4. Communications and text messaging (SMS)
When you submit a form on the Site, you agree that we may contact you by phone, email, or text message at the contact details you provide, about your property and your request.
- Text messages are optional. You can request an offer without agreeing to receive texts. Where you tick the text-message box on a form, you are giving ClearPath Home Buyers consent to send you SMS messages about your property, your offer, and the status of your request.
- Message frequency varies depending on your conversation with us. We do not send bulk or automated marketing texts.
- Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan.
- To stop: reply STOP to any text message and we will stop texting you. You can also email us at contact@clearpathhomebuyers.ca to withdraw consent for any form of contact.
- For help: reply HELP to any text message, or email contact@clearpathhomebuyers.ca.
- Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share your mobile number or text-message consent with third parties for their own marketing. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.
5. No professional advice
Content on the Site is general information about selling a house and is not legal, tax, financial, or real estate advice. Your situation is specific to you. Please consult a lawyer, accountant, or other qualified professional before making decisions about your property.
6. Site content
The text, images, and design of the Site belong to ClearPath Home Buyers or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own personal use. Please do not copy or republish Site content without our written permission.
7. Limitation of liability
We work to keep the Site accurate and available, but we provide it “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, ClearPath Home Buyers is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the Site or reliance on its content.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
